Classy healthy simplicity

"We want to open people's minds and their palettes." Quentin Archer

Next to Rock Jungle Boulders, a new healthy, classy restaurant sprang up to fill a need for healthy and

fitness-minded clientele.

"The location just North of MacEwan University is ideal for a coffee shop since so many young people live in this vicinity and more are moving into the neighbourhood. We add value to the climbing gym next door and add to the coffee culture of downtown Edmonton," declares Chet Mathews, Manager. “For climbers at Rock Jungle Boulders, coffees, juices and quick snacks provide energy to recover.”

"For people who seek a new experience they have access to exclusive coffees here. Coffees are rotated seasonally. Currently, client favourites are our featured special Bali Blend from Indonesia and our Expresso. Our coffees are earthy and well-rounded, organic, hand-selected, single origin, quality delicious coffee which for many need no cream or sugar."

"Our menu is crafted to suit athletes and the fit conscious.  It is excellent for athletes who come off the climbing wall. Here they can get a protein surge balanced with fresh quality vegetables. Simple ingredients are used with light sauces and priced economically," says Chef Quentin Archer.

"Lunch time features straightforward items

like a sesame chicken wrap with a brazeau salad while the evening menu will focus on tapas and sharing plates.

We support local businesses by serving Alberta crafted beers and wines. We also select quality, organic vegetables from local greenhouses and the farmer's market."

At their Grand Opening on Dec. 2nd the staff was pleasantly overwhelmed with a solid turnout and support from locals.  We look forward to the upgraded menu to be released in early 2017 with new delicacies from Dirtbag Cafe's kitchen.
