Have you ever thought about a career in policing, but aren’t sure what it involves or what it takes? Come to a free information session and recruiters will on hand to discuss:

  • why you should consider a career with the EPS;
  • benefits and career opportunities within the EPS
  • requirements for becoming a police officer with the EPS;
  • information about the application and selection process; and
  • the training a new recruit undergoes prior to graduation.

And of course answer any questions you may have.

New Applicants

One of the goals of the EPS is to reflect the diversity of the communities served in Edmonton. This enables us to continually improve our capability to deliver service that is effective and responsive to the needs of the community.

The EPS is looking for men and women from all backgrounds and walks of life, including people of various races, cultures, and religions. Everyone who has a strong interest in becoming a police constable, and who feels that he or she meets the qualifications described is encouraged to apply.
