Yellowhead trail - freeway conversion program

The Freeway Conversion Program will be a transformational project which looks to improve safety, operational capacity and increase the level of service for this important route not just got Edmonton but all of Canada. 

The program is now fully funded with a budget of approximately $1 billion committed from all levels of government. 

During the next four years the program team will plan, design and engage with the public. Construction is scheduled for Spring 2019 and will continue till end of 2026.
